Final Math Project Choices
You can choose one of the following projects to work on for Friday, June 19th and Monday, June 22nd. The idea with projects is that you are doing a lot of learning and creating, so be patient with yourself, and give yourself as much time as you need to finish. It is not due Monday but try to have it done by Tuesday. If you want to post pictures or a video of your creation we would LOVE to see it.
Choice #1: Origami Projects-Please choose at least 3, maybe more, of these projects to make.

Choice #2: Create your own maze out of recycled materials
Steps:
1. Gather materials you can use from around your home (paper towel and toilet paper tubes, straws, juice jar lids, marbles, small balls, cardboard, tape) Scissors, ruler, markers, tape, glue. What can you find around your home that you can use to build your maze?
2. Draw on paper how you want your maze to look. Gather balls, marbles, and small cars to run in your maze.
3. Cut (or ask an adult to cut) a piece of cardboard that can be the base of your maze. Then cut straws, sticks, or use popsicle stick to glue or tape down to create the pathway. Make sure to create a pathway that will be big enough for your marble or ball.
4. Place something at the end of the maze to stop your marble.
5. Tape down paper tubes for your marbles to run through.
6. glue down lids you've collected as obstacles in your maze.
7. Set a timer and race your marble. Try and beat your own time. How fast did you get?
8. Take a video or photo and post on Fresh Grade.
